How To Do Whizzy Click Through Links

How do you do links that have a short 'click here' type catch all that have a big 'www.jhesefibfsiefi.com/euhf/oiefh/aoiuefh' actual link.
I need it for a word doc i am working on.

is that true for word docs to?

Go to the Insert menu and pick Hyperlink. Add the URL (http address) and the text you want to appear.

Should work for word docs too - will just be http://www.vixshardc...om/wordfile.docis that true for word docs to?
Doesn't seem to work at this end.
Make sure you've got the http:// at the start if it doesn't work
