 I don't like playing the sort of games that you need to play when 'beyond' :lol:

 

Perhaps you just aren't very good at them  :P

 

I agree though.  The private sector politics is shocking, especially when you are the "enemy within" (Financial Crime prevention) :lol:

I agree though.  The private sector politics is shocking, especially when you are the "enemy within" (Financial Crime prevention) :lol:

 

 

You are entirely correct mate.  I don't like playing them and I am no good at playing them at all... I'm just good at managing functions, teams, people and delivering stuff well, and will leave the game players to p$ss the companies money down the loo with with their own self centred agenda's.

 

You get less of that stuff in small businesses... I joined a small business and they were taken over by a much larger business where that kind of behaviour is just seen as normal and acceptable unfortunately.

Software engineer building underground drill rigs. Also consultant sales and delivery management for some 10-15% of my work week.

So mainly engineer with a touch of IT geek I guess...

Fully agree with all of the above.  The arrogance on display astounds me.  Not to mention the levels of incompetence to boot!
