It seems to have the same markings as the one I have in my draw, I believe mine to be a 2 channel one.

I think Foxy Sr is thrown off by the word "lotus" on the sticker.
This is my experience:

If foxy is not convinced though, i have that same "S108196009" in my drawer also, that i am happy to sell him.

So...the eBay one is not 4 channel and can’t be from an Exige? :|

That is a good question.

I think the opel sticker one came from my own speedster, and i replaced it with the 6012.
The 6009 i scored on ebay. also thinking it was 4 channel, then later on read it was a false flag, and only 6012 was 4 channel.

Either i am wrong, and the 6009 is 4 channel., or the ebay add is wrong.

 

Anyone swapped their 2 channel for a 4 one, have the old one still lying around, and does it have a "lotus" 6009 printed on it to validate?

Mr ebay is flogging a complete unit listed as A120J6000F
The sticker on his unit however, lists the vx220 complete unit partnumber A116J6000F

 

Again, this could be a vx220 unit, but with a lotus 4-channel ecu on top.

We really need first hand validation that the 6009 ecu unit is also stock vx220 2 channel or not.

 

Would like to know, as i potentially have been using a pot of gold as a paperweight for 9 years now

Cheers Smiley, yes that ebay one did look suspect the label didnt make sense. Good research skills!

 

So how much are these units from Lotus new? Silly money I presume?

 

I would like to attempt my first ever track day this year, but need to get ABS and Toe Links done first...
