Knob jockey, that’s 2-channel...probably. Or not.

Knob jockey, that’s 4-channel
Well I possibly stand corrected and have a little pot of gold in my draw!
Can anyone confirm?

I think Foxy Sr is thrown off by the word "lotus" on the sticker.
This is my experience:

If foxy is not convinced though, i have that same "S108196009" in my drawer also, that i am happy to sell him.

So...the eBay one is not 4 channel and can’t be from an Exige? :|
Posted 31 January 2020 - 11:04 AM
That is a good question.
I think the opel sticker one came from my own speedster, and i replaced it with the 6012.
The 6009 i scored on ebay. also thinking it was 4 channel, then later on read it was a false flag, and only 6012 was 4 channel.
Either i am wrong, and the 6009 is 4 channel., or the ebay add is wrong.
Anyone swapped their 2 channel for a 4 one, have the old one still lying around, and does it have a "lotus" 6009 printed on it to validate?

Here is the claimed 4 channel 2011 Exige ad https://www.ebay.co....09/124031061494
This is an ad showing what I think is the standard 2 channel VX unit https://www.ebay.co....09/233248335938
I trawled through the .org and found pics on a thread of what is the 4 channel I think http://i152.photobuc...0r/IMG_0583.jpg and this link is to the 2 channel in the thread http://i152.photobuc...0r/IMG_0591.jpg

It seems to have the same markings as the one I have in my draw, I believe mine to be a 2 channel one.

Did that came out of your vx?

Thanks.
Mr ebay is flogging a complete unit listed as A120J6000F
The sticker on his unit however, lists the vx220 complete unit partnumber A116J6000F
Again, this could be a vx220 unit, but with a lotus 4-channel ecu on top.
We really need first hand validation that the 6009 ecu unit is also stock vx220 2 channel or not.
Would like to know, as i potentially have been using a pot of gold as a paperweight for 9 years now

After some old topics
http://www.vx220.org...xige-abs/page-5
http://www.vx220.org...bs-units/page-7
6002 = Opel Vectra 2 channel
6009 = Opel/vauxhall vx220 2 channel
6012 = Lotus 4 channel.
I think mr ebay needs to go on the naughty steps.
