If anyone is in the market for a Porsche Boxster S I'll shortly be selling my parents completely standard one.

I don't have all the details to hand but will furnish you with what I have.
Its a 55 plate, dark blue with grey interior. Auto. 70 something thousand miles. They bought it from a Porsche specialist and have owned it for ages. Always serviced to schedule by either Porsche or specialist. Got a stack of receipts. Don't know about IMS bearing but they have always had everything done that was required, so if there was any need to do it, it would have been done. Likewise if there's nothing wrong, it would have been left alone. Not sure how much they're looking for, probably around £9,500 I'd guess.

I would think that by now if the IMS bearing was going to be a problem it would have been done

Ims failure on a 987 is pretty rare, and not really worth worrying about tbh.
