Let the speculation begin........  :tt:

Two seater, new ICE, £55k - £100+k, new chassis, more useable,....

Reports saying it could possibly replace the whole range

£55k - £100k..

So £55k in 2022, which will equate to £100k in 2045 when they are still selling the same basic car  :D

The 250 cup is very high on my wishlist as well.

If only i had money

Here is the 2010 elise concept.
By those looks, it should replace both the elise and the exige. Probably with a 4 banger.

I think not. Speedster is almost a 200k km car, and the parts total up 6/7k maybe.

Not enough; these cups are in the 50k range over here. Same as the V6, which i also like.

Final Elise won't be a Cup250...

More likely... Sport240, with a few nice bits.

The Cup250 has a 243bhp Engine tune, so I expect that engine setup in the Sport240, aka a Cup250 without the aero.

Reading the PH thread today there was talk of the A45 AMG power unit

Hmmm, fast but not so sure about that

Lotus need to get the styling right on this one I think. They've been close but no cigar on the Evora/Exige V6 (for me)

Since Geely seem to own almost everything right now it would be cool to put Volvos twin charge 4 pot in it :)
Don't know if it would mean great advantages over anything else but twin charging sounds really cool.

So - the speculation about punting the whole range was true then!  :ninja:

Blimey - lot's hanging on this car(s) then. More comment in that thread Hairy linked about that AMG ICE....although the Geely/Volvo route seems more likely
