Another passing of the old guard, not since the loss of Lord Mountbatton do i remember such a feeling from myself. Human faults and non pc alike, only added a stability to the ramparts of his lack of superiority. Not ever exactly the guy next door but always certainly his slightly eccentric uncle.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Present day history will not ever have the foundational cement laid that these old guard laboured to lay and our futures, whether we know it or not, stand more stable for them all.
