Hi guys,
This is a real long shot but does anyone live near Cadwell Park that could lend me a coil pack to rule out what's wrong with my car.

I am here now and car is mis firing above 3000 revs. I suspect the coil pack but don't know.
I've tried asking the local motor factors and none in stock.

This is my 3rd failed track day in a row with various problems, so I'm a grand down and no play time. It is a track only car so no way of testing it apart from on the Dino, so while I have an opportunity to test it is like to figure out what it is before reading another track day......

Help 😓 please

Probably too late and simplistic but could it be water in the spark plug wells? Usually causes a misfire on my turbo.

Don't suppose you have the RCS traction control fitted?

I got my Bosch one from Courtenay as there are a lot of fake ones out there.

Probably not what you're experiencing, but my RCS launch control causes misfire above 3-4000 rpm on the noise check ( car static) and persists until it is reset ( ie misfire then continues when car is running, until the RCS is reset)

Thanks to Neil, I've tried my coil pack in his car and it isn't showing the same fault, so it's not my cool pack, so I'm a bit stuck.

I managed to run a log but on OBDtuner when I was on track, but I'm not fully proficient with understanding what I'm looking for and there doesn't seem anything obvious.

I'm going to put another post on to see if any clever people can look at my log to see if they can throw some light on it....

I'd recommend disable and reset the RCS tcs to eliminate that

Did you have a static noise check at the track day ( with RCS tcs on)?

I did have RCS but it's disconnected. The injectors are wired direct to ECU again removing the RCS out of the equation.

Yeh I did a static test at Cadwell
