I have my eye on a nice supercharged car (mostly from a VFM point of view), however having spent the last 12 years driving normal and hot hatches, I suspect I will be able to hear most insurers laughing from London when I ask them for a quote. Can anyone recommend an insurer that won’t look down on me having zero experience in one of these but also won’t want me to sell my as yet unborn children?

Good Afternoon
...and welcome
I found that using a classic car insurance package worked out the best for me (..and would be worth a look in to for yourself i would have thought). I also have a cap on the miles i intend to use it for each year (not that they have ever checked), for she has always been a fair-weather luxury (toy) as opposed to an everyday user (19 years of ownership and she has only recently clocked 38,000 miles).
Good luck with your search

The sportiest car I’ve had was a Peugeot 306 GTI-6 a couple of years ago (those who have experienced a Peugeot 306 will attest to the lively back end on them, thankfully it never caught me out).
Thanks for the REIS and classic policy recommendations - I’ll definitely give them a try along with Flux, Greenlight, Chris Knott etc.

Hi, I have a SC insured with Classic Line they are easy to deal with and have experience of our cars, many use them. I also have agreed value on my car which only costs an extra £20 every couple of years. You need to send them photos and a description of the condition.
Good Luck
