…aaand the seller ghosted me. All good and then out of the blue has changed their mind again.

So back on the hunt. Have appreciated the tip offs very much. Please do keep them coming.

There was a chassis for sale on FB earlier for £1500, lots of parts missing, although equally lots of parts there.

Advert appears gone already

Not the dearest by any means ?

I thought there was a rough silver one for sale a day or two ago too

Although it's listed as 2005, too new for him.

If It was closer to me, I'd probably buy it for parts.

Thank you for the tip offs guys. I’m tempted by that chassis just to get the design work done. At least I’m able to make real progress that way.

The LY is too expensive. Darren and I have chatted. Nice guy and I’m not disputing its potential value. In reality though I just don’t need something that could with a little tlc be made a great car. I need a sh*t box ????

Correct and I was meant to be buying it. The seller promised it to me, arranged a date, then lied and said he’s keeping it before selling it to someone else who immediately started breaking parts off it.

You win some and you lose some.

Thing is, if you can be bothered.....if slightly decent, more parts to sell off. Front and rear clams and associated parts, especially front and rear lights are worth a few quid.

If it wasn't for the Irish sea in the way, I'd be buying some to break for parts and keep spares for myself.

Yep in discussion to buy that. Just trying to sort out collection at a reasonable cost. At the moment the car or what’s left of it is wedged on the back of that truck. “Manpower” is the plan to move it lol.

I’m not going to get my hopes up too much just yet, but I’m on it!
