A glowing turbo and manifold can be perfectly normal, or it can be a problem.

If you've just driven the car very hard, then probably normal.

This was my manifold after about 10-15min drive with several accelerations.

These cars wouldn't have the same airflow as a front engine car, so far less cooling ability in this area. Light cruise say 70mph, can create quite a bit of heat, as can full load operation.

More than likely it is quite normal, hence various heat shields.

Although it can also be an indication things may be lean, or maybe timing too low if things were glowing under very light low load operation, driving round town, idle etc.

Ok thank you very mich dor the answer.
Then it should probably be normal cause i floored the car several timea during that drive due to test if i get an fault code again or reduced power which was not the case on the test drive but i have to test it at a longer drive to be sure.

Thanks alot!

Regards Flo
