How about this!! Y8HOO - suits the car perfectly!

This car is awesome... a regular up at knockhill!! has different throttle bodies (dreadnaught) and engine management... this guy had recently ordered a Sagaris (sp?) in that gorgous burnt orange colour B)

I saw "8L1NG" in Farnborough the other day. I can't remember what sort of car it was on though, I don't think it was anything too special or I'd remember it.

I think S1 is on an old BMW 3 series touring in Edinburgh...Plate worth more than the car I expect. Best one I saw was on a motorbike..... A55 W1PE

Hmmm, given that neither of these numberplates are of a correct GB format, I presume there must have been a judicious use of spacing/coloured screw covers going on! :D

Surely the best plate must be Paul Daniels' MAG1C...

I think it was "8L 1NG" rather than a single word, but yeah I'm sure that lots of variants on the true spacing goes on with these type of plates.

I'm not sure if he owns this anymore....

I was on the M1 near Milton Keynes a couple of years ago in a company Mondeo and a Ferrari went past with that plate at about 120. My first thought was 'ooooh Paul Daniels' so tried to catch up to see if I could get a view of Paul Daniels and the lovely Debbie Magee.

Took me a while to catch up and eventually crawled past flat out! It wasn't either Paul or Debbie but the look on their faces was woth it when they saw me coming past them!

As far as the 'Greatest plate ever' is concerned THIS ONE must rank quite high! :D :D

Lawrence......

The record must be held by Steve Parish for his PEN 15 plate. I saw a Z4 up here on Saturday with B00BS which seems appropriate. It was so badly buggered about I could make out what it was supposed to be in time.

I've found unconfirmed reports that Steve Parrish's missus has F4 NNY on her car. Those reports, as I say, are uncomfirmed at present.
