Here is a New vs Old Torque Curve

Hmmm, when you say old, you don't mean pre-SC do you? I don't remember my NA having >150lbft and any revs! :D

Cheers, Paul.

The conversion is very good, the increase in torque is certainly welcome. This was very noticable when I was in Alex's car. as the low end response is fantastic.
Alot of this torque improvement has come from getting rid of the plastic inlet manifold, you can see on the old conversion graph that even with the superchager you get that "2.2" torque bump. However the new conversion has a new alloy inlet manifold with integral charge cooler, which has removed it.

very very impressive indeed. also very harmfull to the bank balance :D so on the stage 2, how reliable will it be, i know with any mods to this extent, especialy when driven hard may cause niggles but in the short time this kit has been used, do you think it will be a strong kit? edit: obviously you do, you sell it. what i mean is can i expect the same reliability as the 2.2, i guess the integral charge cooler is a bonus thumbsup basically i wouldnt want the pistons going through the rear window within 6 months :D

I believe it will be very durable with the charge cooler etc, I am putting the stage 2 on my car which is a pristine 1200 mile old car. Realistically I do not believe it would do the same long term milage, driven flat out mile after mile, side by side with a standard 2.2. That said we have many turbo charged cars that have similar power increases over standard, that when serviced properly with good oil and an oil change between services have coverd over 130,000 miles and are still going strong. Also the major components are GM sourced so they will all have completed GM durability. thumbsup

Ok ok its 1130 miles on the road and nearly 100 on the rollers, but hey it keeps the oil circulating and gets in warmed right through. (well other than the front hubs) whats more it saves me having to clean it !!!! :P

Anyway when I need a fix, I take Marks out and get that dirty :lol: :poke:

Stage 1 increases the power to 210-215 BHP on a standard car with a standard exhaust. The cost is £4750 fitted including vat.

Stage 2 increases the power to 240+ BHP and consists of higher flow injectors and smaller diameter alloy supercharger pulley and a different map. The cost for this is £5175 including vat and fitting.

Great value....do you take Credit Cards :lol:

Its sounds worth getting into debt for ;)

No, but the liters/100km

I need 7 liters for 100km, when I do not use boost (drove the car on the autobahn at 80mph 110kmh). If I use the car with boost, speeding etc. that goes up to 14 liters/100km.

So thats:

7L = 1.54 Uk gallons,
100km = 62.14 miles

62.14 / 1.54 = 40.4 mpg :D

Cheers, Paul.
