There must have been a problem with that turbo as all the ones I have driven have not had any lag. I must say b4 I had the miltek fitted there was an anoying flat spot between 3500 to 4000 rpm but that has now gone.I was lucky enough to drive a turbo this week and to be honest I wasnt to impressed
Im not a great fan of Tubby-Lag
I like an engine to pull right through the rev range....none of this BOOSTING shite

So if this S/C is as good as some other S/c's that ive driven in the past then i'll be buying a kit for sure

FWIW Adrian Flux used to insure my VXT inc all mods. They also will have heard of us and our work too which helps!

I gave Elephant (my current insurer) a call earlier, they said no to the sc.
Anyone got any ideas what companies would be worth a try?
Admiril won't do it either. 25% max power increase, they say...

Cheers, Paul.

Not by the time I have finished modding it.All turbots without antilag have lag - that's why you get in the way of Honda powered elises

Liverpool Victoria used to allow any mod's provided they didn't increase cc. I only had to pay an admin charge when I put the Milltek and Viper on my NA.Anyone got any ideas what companies would be worth a try?

LV are now shite, and won't even cover your car if you put super unleaded / fancy smelling screenwash in it.Liverpool Victoria used to allow any mod's provided they didn't increase cc. Ok, maybe I exagerate slightly, but they won't cover any car with mods now.
Try Autotorque - best quote by a long way for me

Just been on to LV as I've just had the renewal on my policy which is due up in two weeks. They confirm no new mods but existing ones they know about are covered. Jury's out on track cover and they're getting back to me.LV are now shite, and won't even cover your car if you put super unleaded / fancy smelling screenwash in it.

Presumably Auto Torque are ok on the usual comprehensive stuff, Europe cover etc?

And you won't be surprised to hear that the new LV policy does not provide track cover. What a PITA!Just been on to LV as I've just had the renewal on my policy which is due up in two weeks. They confirm no new mods but existing ones they know about are covered. Jury's out on track cover and they're getting back to me.
