I used to work offfshore.. I learnt two things..

1. Don't knock it till you've tried it (something to do with skate wings !)
2. You're either a w*nk3r or a liar

I'm an HO in A&E basically a junior doctor (house officer) in Accident and Emergency. Your good self?

realy admire that line of work. my bros a nurse im perhaps the worlds best electrician! well thats what id say. hope youre night aint to grim my bro sees casualties almost every day he works unfortunately. although nothing to do with him.

We see Casualties every shift, its a big A&E so always a lot of people in and out, im working on the trauma team tonight so extra grisly. Just seen another sign of the knife culture, a young kid with a knife stuck in his neck.

just think yourself thankfull your not in the glasgow a&e. it must be the worst knife seen on the planet. almost everyone i know younger than 21 carries a knife unfortunatley.

on another note what is it with hospital staff and being on the net? my bros the same he emails me and goes on forums, prints of stuff etc for most of his shifts.
not moaning but is it pretty easy to get away with?

I’m surprised he gets away with it as a nurse, ha ha only joking although they do tend to work harder and more kind of never ending stuff., its not really getting away with, not like its banned or anything. At the moment I’m in the middle of writing a paper for work so doing it in between that. As a doctor we really don’t have anyone over seeing us. Were working on fits and bursts as part of the trauma team. We also can’t get involved in anything we can’t drop at a moments notice but I’ve been around helping the rest of the team out.

Ask away, although I’m qualified now, ha ha i thought you meant he was a looker there, ah nurses are the backbone most of them are great for a giggle its the stuck up Dr's you have to look out for. Electricians are cool, always be work. I used to do a little of my own work, all stopped now since the new regulations. Nothing major though, just some hallies and various bits and bobs to go with them.

i forgot that even though doctors are qualified it doesnt mean their residents or something like that. (think im watching too much scrubs ).
hey leave the work to goooood sparkies. theirs far too many regs to adhere to that unqualified people would never even think of. sure it would work and probably even be safe but 9/10 it would'nt pass an inspection.
