Fitted it last night. I spent 5 minutes upside down in the footwell of the passenger side. I pulled a few muscules and banged my head a couple of times, but managed to fit it in in the end. (just realised that sounded like a Mark and Lard 'fat barry white' storey) It is pefect for this weather. Thanks Bengie - cheque is on its way! thumbsup

Another 4 have been sent out. Just waiting for addresses from Ducati996Senna Smiler so I can send the last two relays out. I'm still getting some interest in the relays, so I'll setup another group buy. /wishes he'd ordered 20 in the first place...

Really is a piece of p*ss to fit, worth using a screwdriver/key just to help it on it's way. Mine was abit stiff to say the least! thumbsup

received and fitted thumbsup I've got to agree with many of the others here, getting the old one out is a complete biatch of a job. VX's obviously weren't designed with the prospect of having someone 6'4" and 16 stone head first in the footwell  The new one went it easily though, and it all works brilliantly. Cheers Bengie. ps. did you received my cheque today?

I think it was easier for me as i'm abit of a short ass, and I am an experienced 'in footwell' worker. Once replaced a Fiat x19 brake master cylinder which was a pig of a job involving removing the steering column and lots of other back breaking tasks! :beat:

I'm glad I'm not the only one having difficulties getting the old relay out - I've tried on two seperate occasions, and both times have failed to remove it!

Any tips for getting the damn thing out?

Lever it out with a flat screwdriver, or penknife
