If people read the thread, they'd see that I'm still trying to arrange a group buy of NEW relays...

They'll be about £25 quid. Here's the list:

The new relay gives less sweeps of the wiper after you wash the screen. This will stop the screen smearing  . The added bonus is you can also program the intermittent wiper from the stalk, so you can vary the sweep time. thumbsup

:jump: that sounds pretty impressive!! how exactly does one "program" the speed from the wiper stalk? Do you have to add a button like "real" cars have?

No buttons you do it from the stalk, turn the intermitant function on and then turn it off, count how many secounds you want the delay and then turn it back on. It work the same way as the corsa. thumbsup

I have recieved my relay today, it works well. Two sweeps with a little squirt and 4 sweeps with a long one, and the intermitant function is fantastic. thumbsup . For the vxt guys you will find there are 3 relays. The one you want is the one on the far left of the three (looking up from the footwell with your head on the foot rest. thumbsup ) I would use a knife to remove as I used grips which pulled the plastic cover off the old relay (typical cheap gm crap  )

Thanks Whiteboy thumbsup saved me having to work out which relay it was/is (not that i'm lazy or anything!)

and Bengie Imnotworthy Imnotworthy thanks for getting this whole thing started in the first place - one of the best (and easiest) mods I've ever done

Just to repeat what people have said above, ( a ) it only takes 5 mins (although it may take the osteopath 6 months to sort my back out now   ) and ( b ) a knife/fine bladed screwdrive makes the job a LOT easier!

Right, off to do a search on clutch return springs now (seeing as I've just spotted that I don't have one at all.... )

Been trawling my local scrapyard for the past week. Not a single relay to be seen in all of 5000 cars! There's clearly a lucrative market for these things!! I'm in!! JNeill Chazuwe laidback50 jimgraham snoopstah paul M3 BFG (simon) Richiemouse Ducati996Senna Tom (Aberdeen) benw

I'm off to a non local scrappy tomorrow to help a mate remove an engine/box and supension from a Vectra GSI.

Not been there in ages, so may be some relays.

The Last 2 relays will be posted out Monday now,as we'll be busy all day tomorrow.
