My old man certainly isnt on the "rich list" but he does pretty damn well for himself but would I ever try to claim I'm something special because of his acheivements? Most certainly not. He has worked his ass off since the age of 16 where he joined the Royal Marines. He's been on the front line and put his life at risk for the sake of protecting others more times than I can begin to count. He has since retired from the Marines, come out and carried on working non stop. As has my mother, who lost her father recently. My parents have helped me so much in my life and I owe them a debt I can't even begin to repay and I admire and respect them for what they have acheived. They bought my first car which was a 1.2 Renault Clio. I'm now about to turn 24 and buying my first REAL sports car (VXT)? What's my point? Well it's simply this, you should love and respect your parents for the sacrifices they make for you in life. You should always respect people regardless of their "social" or "financial" status. I would NEVER look down my nose at anyone and think them less of a human being than me especially when it comes to "financial success". I wouldn't consider myself wealthy by any means I'm still trying to find my feet and make my way in life but so far I'm getting there and that is 99.9% in part to thank my parents. Your parents success is not your own and you should respect them for that and the others around you. Once you get out into the big bad world you will find that "daddys" success can only carry you so far and one day you will have to walk on your own two feet. We all sadly only get one chance at life, and you will see as you grow older (man i sound like an old geezer now) that the way you behave and your attitude will get you nowhere in life and only serve to hurt those around you and yourself in the long run. You really need to take a step back and put things into perspective Just my 2c... Peace

I've never seen this thread before! Elmo FTW! Even if it’s a joke the sheer blinding arrogance of the author is something to behold. If it’s a genuine post then, again, the sheer blinding arrogance on display is amazing! Its like the military developing ever more efficient ways of killing people - nobody likes it, nobody wants it, and its representative of human nature at its most disgusting... but you cant but help be awed by the majesty of it!!!
