I'm in sunny Westhoughton.

It's a shame I've sold my VXT now as by the sounds of things, we could have gotten quite a few people together from our way (when I had mine there were far fewer of us), but I do plan to buy again soon. Probably a VXR next time.

I'll be going down to the national meet this year though, if anyone wants a passenger in their car :D

Where is the national meet Gedi?

Being a newbie & all :D

It's not been organized yet, but assuming the same as previous years, it's a brunthingthorpe proving grounds.

It's a cracking day out, if only to see TurboTomato spin at 115mph, or Timbo on anything other than a straight!

I'm going to have to get a passenger ride down there, unless the NA's want to be embarrased by the speed of my Clio.

The silver BAZ NA VX in Westhoughton was me. Only had car three months and spotted already. I have also seen a red VXT and blue VXT in Wigan. The Blue VXT drives past my house in Billinge! What the hell is wrong with silver?

Yeah, it's a Clio sport, however it's been played with and I had it rolling roaded the other day at 216bhp.

It was a big drop in performance from my stage 2 VXT, but it's tonnes of fun.

I did a part ex for my VXT (with m@thew) to get a house, and I didn't intend on keeping it at first ......... but I've sorta changed my mind, and it's staying until I can get myself another VXT (stage 3 next time) or a VXR (again stage 3 ;) )

I'm hoping to be back in force by Christmas 2006, to flex my muscles on the NW roads once again

Ged - 216bhp :o :o What have you had done??

I haven't done much, just a new custom exhaust to hide the tail pipe and make it very quiet, and the chip remapped.

The rest was done when I got my hands on it. I think it's mainly cam and head work, obviously with exhaust, filter and a chip.
Could also be a optimistic rolling road.

Another common silver N/A owner here based in the NW. Gedi - I used to work with your brother (Dave) and still speak to him via e-mail. He said that you were going to go for a new VX but the Charge cooler route B) Ive only ever seen a few VX's in the NW ( Ozzigs yellow tubby, Jays moonland and 360phil who had a LY but got another) A few months we joined Lichfield meet. Drove down in convoy from the NW and then back up via the cat and fiddle - great day which could be repeated?
