sanding's ok. i love a challenge. usually works out ok. only trouble is afterwards the one tiny bit which isn't right screams at me! if DIY was just hanging doors, i'd be champion of the world. unfortunately i'm having to learn new things! :rolleyes:

Yeah I know what you mean about the "one" area that screams at you. I just have to sort it out or it will bug me forever! Getting an extension built hopefully in April so the DIY is going to have to be done big time & I ain't looking forward to it :rolleyes:

i strategically bought a house that doesn't need extending. just some SERIOUS replanning internally (central heating fitted, stair turning round, upstairs bathroom putting in). that'll cause me far less hassle :beat:

i'm doing a job for someone starting tomorrow- draughting work, going to be fully booked this year i think

there would of course be a reduced vx220.org.uk rate offered if i had the time thumbsup

time for a well earned (?) :drink:

after all that decorating b0110cks. why did i have to but an early 20th century house off a chav? if i'd known that the 5% of the room i couldn't see had the original 'rustic' plastering i'd have haggled more :rolleyes:

ah well, more sanding filling and painting tomorrow i guess :rolleyes:
