Wont bore you all to death but bought my vx from them and its had 4 lots of warranty work done at another garage local to me cos Bellingers network q inspection was a joke..... and they sold me the car with glaring faults!!!!! Anyway, when i wrote complaining looking for a goodwill gesture cos of all my lost time and effort in garage visits.... their response was "well the guy at network q head office has sorted yr problems out so we dont have to". The letter was from their aftersales director - what a toss** Customer service????? Me thinks he needs to go on a day training course the ball bag!!!!! even a sorry and some sort of gesture would have been nice, anything!!!!!!!!!!!! p.s would love to name the arse**** rant

I (almost) know how you feel mate ... bought an M3 from a Sytners BMW dealer (specially approved for M3's and Alpina's) a couple of yrs ago with full BMW Warranty and the usual BMW Approved User Car check Within a few days of ownership I complained about steering wheel being 5deg out and notchy gear change into 2nd - no joy from the dealer who says the car was fully checked - so I made friends with my local BMW dealer who checked it out and agreed with the faults - I then got the full support of BMW Cust Support who "had a go at Sytners" and told them to pay my local dealer to do the work - needless to say Sytners were not happy chappys seeing as it cost them a replacement steering rack, clutch + labour, etc - serves them right - and guess what, local dealer only needed the car for a couple of days, gave me the usual BMW loan car and all was sorted ASAP - not exactly Vauxhall standard, eh! BMW may p1ss on you ref the odd sale or two, but they value your custom a lot more than most! chinky chinky Anyway, hope you get it sorted mate thumbsup

cheers space, well have wrote them a long fax saying how poo they are and telling them am going to write to network q and vauxhall about their crap customer service!!!!!!! Glad bmw seem to be better...... mass market car makers are generally not so hot on customer care as the more expensive ones are....

Hi guys, this is my first post here. Oh dear, I've just put down a deposit on a VXT from Bellingers yesterday, then see this post. The car drove well in the test drive though so we'll see.

I purchased my '04 VXT on Saturday and, wow what a car :D . The salesman was rather unenthusiastic and not very trusting, unlike the guy from Picador, Southampton who was excellent. No real gripes to mention so far apart from a slipping clutch which is probably down to my gear change technique, and a battery warning light which flickers on from time to time.
