IMHO I now have the best handling car ever ( or that I have ever driven anyway). I bought my VXR in january of this year and was mighty pleased with the out of the box package but being me that was not enough so 1000 miles later off it went to AMD to have a stage 3 remap and charge cooler and the difference was huge at about the same time I went to visit Plans motorsport and spent a long time talking to Graham about what could be done to the car to make it better, handling, setup, safety etc. Graham asked me what I really wanted and my answer was simple 'The ultimate VXR' now this might sound arrogant but it isnt i just wated to take the car to its usable extreme, Graham told me he had a couple of ideas for the car such as custom made Ohlins, a customised LSD from quaife, new bushes and a new ARB ( There were other ideas and they will be going on soon) anyway I finally picked up my car yesterday...and guess what it was pissing down great I hadn't driven it for 5 weeks it had unknown handling and I have to drive home on wet country roads to say I was excited is an understatement. The car was just amazing even in the very wet raods it just stuck like a limpet, it doesn't crash over every littlebump, it just felt planted.Coming off a roundabout I gave the throttle a little squeeze and as expected the rears span up instantly but in a straight line no fishtailing just so controllable the ride is firm but not to hard the ARB controls the front flex perfectly and turn in even in the wet is just transformed how much of this is the new parts and how much is down to Plans setup I really don't know. Finally just a big thanks to Graham and the team for turning the car into the beast it should be thumbsup thumbsup thumbsup

Keeping it now then ?

My deal for the GT2 has fallen through so I will keep it until I can find another GT2, or until someone makes me a ridiculously high offer for it :D

or I may just keep it and turn it into a track only car
