That engine wouldn't make any difference to the handling, would it?

The kit car section has been a bit quiet of late. Perhaps many people are enjoying summer in their creations (that's enjoying in the sense of being pointed at by small children and spending large amounts of time in the passenger seat of an AA van).

The best of the current crop is a rather dull Nova which you will not be surprised to hear will be a show stopper when it is finished.

What took my eye about this beauty is the current owner's details about where the money had been spent. This includes...

a computer to control the stereo, TV DVD, On digital, Dolby surround sound, rear view camera etc.

Perhaps the money would have been more wisely spent on a dashboard that was not made of formica. Or maybe even a car that was not a worthless lump of fibreglass that will never look anything other than sh*t.

The really odd thing about all of these unfinished monstrosities is that there are always plenty of bidders which confirms the oft repeated maxim about there being nowt so queer as folk.

:D :D The roadgoing "boat" It doesn't float and you'd be 'mad' to try it on water. Also it only runs for 15 minutes or so and then breaks down (guaranteed) brilliant :D :D

That boat / car is a classic. "It feels like you are doing 150mph, not that I have done 150mph, but I think it feels like it." Stops after 10 minutes, and sinks if you take it on the water.   ...and wtf is that last one, its

Think my new favourite has got to be the Lotus 7 type car at the bottom the "roadgoing boat" section. Have a look at the main picture. All he's done it place the various parts strategicallay on top of / next to each other to resemble roughly the shape of a car. Genius!

Has this one been on before? It just needs finishing.

Finishing? Finishing? It wants bloody burning. Some numpty is going to pay over a grand for this useless collection of GRP and cat poo.
