Just back from a day out, had a great day.......blue sky + sun.....Drive through the New forest........Car enthusiasts......friendly banter......Passenger laps of the Top Gear track and several hot laps of my own.......Oh and also had my car serviced :D . As I said felt like a day out rather than taking the car for a service. There was non of the usual / standard crap that you get from other garages (give us your keys, sign this, now go away so we can charge you for all the extras under the sun and go back later to find half the things not done and a bill double what you were expecting). My car was due its 1st service and after reading / knowing the standard of service / customer care I could have expected from my local VX dealer I thought I would try Plans. All I can say is fantastic service, even after a few hot laps of the Test track and my car throwing a little fit and blowing some fluid from the expansion tank (no cool down lap + hot day), they spent another 30 mins checking it over even though this was after paying the invoice. thumbsup Great day Great service :D If anybody else is in doubt about where to take there pride and joy then give them a go and see what you think, I dont think you will be disappointed. Must say thanks to all the guys and Graham at Plans thumbsup .

I had the pleasure of this yesterday and all I can say is "Top job chaps thumbsup " I had mine booked in for the "enhanced service", for the pre-cat to be removed, and also to use the courtesy car. All went smoothly, Graham called me the night before to confirm that things were still going ahead as planned, the car was there for me when I arrived, I got a courtesy call during the day to tell me how things were going and to let me know that I needed two new front tires (which they then sourced that afternoon), and to top it off, John ended up staying late so that I could pick the car up yesterday, rather than me having to make a big detour today (no questions asked) . A thoroughly professional outfit, with a great deal of consideration to customer care. The results are that my VX in now running smoother than it has for months, and with the removal of the pre-cat, there seems to be a bit more power through the gears, by which I means that it seems to be more responsive making it a lot more driveable under normal road conditions. I haven't had a chance to really "go for it" yet, so as for out and out power I can't really comment, although to be fair I'm not expecting a huge difference. The fact that it now pops and burbles even more isn't a bad thing either (VSE+viper assisted :tt: ) So a firm recomendation from me, and I wouldn't hesitate in going back there again. thumbsup chinky chinky Plans :) RichH
