Does anyone know how many cars were produced in Union Jack livery. If you were offerred body panels in that colour scheme would you be suspicous? Any idea what it costs to respray a panel to Europa Blue and where one might go to get a quote? I presume it needs to be a specialist in this material.

None where produced as such,Vauxhalls cars had a body wrap (very large sticker,I guess),I don't know how the London dealer did thiers, but again stickers I guess. But Wayne (turboman) @Crownhill had a hardtop painted, which nobody seemed to want.

yes that's right, the 'de51red' car was in fact plain red iirc. I saw it at the London to Brighton run. It had a lot of the UJ vinyl removed. The owner didn't like it and bits of it kept coming undone.

afaik there were three. Lance Owen did one (VXT), Vauxhall did one (NA) and an other dealer did one (unknown). All were vinyl graphics and not paint so should remove easily. We're offering custom VX graphics packages as part of the offering (including VXR is Vauxhall are ok with that) so really is almost anything you can do (££££ permitting). Body panels in that scheme? Yeah, I guess I would be curious as to why?

iirc one was written off. panels from this were up for sale some time ago.... perhaps a year or more so I it could be the same one. Make sure that all the points at which the clams connect to the chassis are complete!

Yep they did indeed do the body wrap. I now own the "de51red" car, but without the stickers on it (it came without them).

I remember seeing one on a London to Brighton meet. Was parked up at Waterloo place where we set off from.
Wonder where it is now and if it’s been attacked by remoaners??
