Chav c**ts who drive around in there bad boy corsas and novas with nurburgring stickers on the back of their cars. Like 90% of them have even ever left mcdonalds car park let alone the feckin country to track their so called machines rant

P.s from slindborgs post in the other nurburg thread I think I will be making some flyers to put on these cars

errrrrrr what post?

and erm, LOTS and LOTS of novas have been to the ring and lots of them would give you a run for your money.... dont be such an arrogant narrow minded cuntbag.

Oh you do have a way with words. I know a lot of them would give me a run for my money. But not the ones from round by me

I have no doubt there are many Novas and Corsas out there that will whip me on the 1/4 mile, I have had first hand experience of that. I have seen these Luton Lunchboxes run 11 seconds which believe me is F-A-S-T.

I would however question their ability to out perform a well sorted VX220 on track. As I remember, having raced front wheel driven cars for many years, the power understeer is quite pronounced even with an LSD and there is only so much left foot braking can sort.

Even if the Nova/Corsa can hit the same braking point, the VX will be on the power much earlier and simple physics gives the VX a much lower centre of gravity therefore better cornering characteristics.

So given two cars, a VX and a Nova/Corsa with the same power to weight ratios and drivers of equivelent capabilities; I am afraid the VX will always out lap the Nova/Corsa.

Put us both on a Rally stage however and I will concede to the Nova/Corsa before the flag has dropped.

11sec 1/4's for a nova is slooooowwww  issac hunt was running faster than that years ago iirc.

I know they arent the 'best' cars in the world, but they certainly arent as sh** as some of the "snobs" here seem to think.
plus the vx is just a bathtub :P

Hell a standard 106 will whip a semi modded novas ass (but breakdown before the first bend )

Not being a snob about it at all. I said chavs in their novas ect. At no point did I imply that every nova and corsa is owned by a chav so I don't see how that is being narrow minded

lol, I had a short blast in the VX round there a couple of years ago. The ex chick was working there and they were out sorting some of the inner catch fencing, told me just to come on track when I came to pick her up...I took advantage...Something very unnerving about being in a plastic car a few feet from a reinforced concrete wall though.
