PS....hows the artex going Jim?

So far I've done about 50 sq.m. I've got about another 90 to go.

I fcuking hate Artex. Every time the stuff drips down my arm I like it a little bit less.

inconsiderate bastard neighbours. I havent been able to move the VX today as it's been boxed in on three sides. Now normally this is just a case of pointing out that blocking a public road entirly is illegal; even if the only people to use it is us. Then the dickhead with the BMW moves it on to his drive. :9mm: But no; today their at a wedding, and have taken their audi, leaving a road entirely blocked and the guy in front of me unable to move too. I thought the car behind me was dumped as its a shed of a fiesta that hasn't moved in months, turns out it was next doors student sons who can't arsed to MOT it and they pushed it off somewhere (probably a ditch a couple of fields away). so at least I'll be able to go to work tommorow

French People!!!ok bit of a generalisation, lets say younger french people WRT the vx.

rant I leave the car 10 min anywhere, by the time i come back there is a crowd of them round the car, all touching with their gubby little hands. Why? you'd never get that in the UK!! would you?

Yesterday there was some kid peering into the engine bay leant accross the back of the car!! :9mm: rant

feel better now.

what REALLY gets on my tits these days are software developers

why oh why do they change things so often?

Just when you get productive with a package they re-write it and all the changes are counter productive :beat:

But for someone like me that only uses the program for fairly simple parts that are then fed into Manufacturing software for automated machining. MD just seems to always f**k up!

My VX. Oh yes, and those incompetent turds at Lotus that couldn't design a car if there were a gun held to their heads.

Not a lot. It's just that after three nights working on one of the most ill thought through bits of design I have enountered for a while now it begins to get to you. I mean what tit thought it was a remotely good idea to not bother their arse to design a subframe which meant you didn't have to remove large amounts of engine to take one bollocking bolt out of the timing case cover? How much effort would it have been? It was also nice to find some really manky spacers rotting away between the clam and the subframe. Top marks for that one. Oh, and would it have killed you to have used three (just three mind, we wouldn't want you wasting money now) stainless steel bolts on the silencer to catalytic converter joint? You know, just so some mug in about two years time wouldn't remove most of the skin from the back of his hand trying to get the bastard thing off. I'm only grateful that my old man got a four post lift recently otherwise this vile job would have resulted in my VX residing in the reservoir at the bottom of the hill. Other gripes include: 1. Why oh why do the holes in the rear clam look like you've cut them with a hammer and chisel? Was the man with the drill out harvesting that day? 2. Oh look, more fcuking jack nuts. 3. Copaslip. It exists. Use it. 4. What crisp packet manufacturer did you use to supply the inner wings? While we're having a bit of a moan, would it have killed GM to have used a cam chain tensioner that wasn't made out of toffee?
