Or worse still (as an occasional Facebook viewer) where a friend (typically the social whore friend) sends out a message to everyone they have in thier 'list' and then you are bombarded with "responses" on e-mail from all those people you don't know... Let alone couldn't give a flying fcuk about, on a subject that is completely fcuking irrelevant anyway!

Whilst I understand what you are trying to say, to the extent that an Excel or other spreadsheet can contain an organized collection of data then it qualifies as a database. A database does not have to be relational or three-dimensional etc to qualify.

Prince Harry just being given an award for the fact he has set up a few charitites. Erm. Isn't that like giving a fireman an award for putting out a wheelly bin fire? I'd have thought that it would be frowned upon for somebody bought into the world with the opportunties he has, NOT to do what he has done. If I had the resources he has, I may have time, money and inclination to set up some charities.
