How come the cheque that put in last fcuking Tuesday still hasn't cleared??? Yet funnily enough the one that I wrote out the next day went out on Friday (which I was covering with the other one I put in) and so has completely fcuked my finances up. Tossers

I got charged the other day for exactly the same reason. Yet it took then 5 days to clear a f**king company cheque .

I'll have a go at them tomorrow to see if i can get it back , i usually can even when its my fault

When I sold my car I had to wait 5 days for a fcuking bankers draft to clear........ which is cleared funds - wtf is that all about?? Well I know what it's about, while that money isn't in my account and not in the person that drew it then it's sat in the banks account making them sh*t loads of money

If it causes you problems.. no funds due to them clearing one but not another.. with overlapping dates you have the right to bill them for your time taken to sort the problem out. If they pay or not is not the issue. Invoice them. give them 28 days to pay. It's perfectly legal and they won't want to follow it up so will drop any charges incured.

In fact if a bank ever messes you about.. don't accept sorry. bill them!..

Dont know if this has been bought up yet but after spending 20mins on the phone to apple to repair my ipod i have 2 things i want to add to this topic. 1) Apple ipods and their inability do what they are ment to and always break! 2) Call centers in Calcutta or where ever they are which people that havent a clue what the English language is!
