Yeah could really do without it, thought you'd understand my troubles Antbuggerfind a damp patch in the slab. Looks like the d.p.m. has been broken, so now i.m going to have to break up the slab and try and repair the dpm
bit of a messy job
bit of an understatement
As a second opinion, would you say that this is the only way to go about it? Dont really want to break the slab up, but if i just put another dpm on top of the slab i imagine the damp would just spread

You should have been a solicitor with wording like thatin my non- professional don't- believe- a- word- i- say- don't- trust- me- as- far- as- you- can- throw- me- don't- listen- to- me- i- am- a- tw@t- i- never- said- this- don't- quote- me- opinion, i'd say that your best off getting a whole bunch of your colleagues to look at it, monitor it with a hygrometer (unless it's a puddle and very obvious) and then get in contact with a load of people (marley, rubberoid etc) and get their opinions (they always have some remedial service and offer free advice on their systems) and then talk to a builder or five.
edit: when i say call rubberoid etc. obviously describe your flat as a £10 million conference facility after defects period and not a flat
^^^^ all of the above is a lie^^^^
get my drift
cheers for the advice .
Guess i'm just in a bit of a hurry to get it out of the way, but like you say i'll consult with a few more people
