Exactly! I've had private plates on various cars for years and it's just an admin fee. The guy didn't even mention any figures, I only found this out when reading the confirmation email. I'll phone them on Monday to speak with someone that knows what they're talking about rather than the chap I got in Bangalore on Friday night. I'm still within my 14 day cooling off period too, so if it's true, which it surely can't be, I'll just tell them to shove their poxy policy and go elsewhere
