People who drag their children down the centre of the road on a sledge 'coz its been snowing' forcing cars already struggling for grip to take evasive action and slide into the kerb.

Couples arguing in front me. I don't like my life being awkward!! Went out last night band stumbled into my parents house at 5.30 this morning and fell asleep. Woke up at 9 to world war 3 downstairs. Really feel sorry for my step dad, I couldn't live with my mum. Hoped they would get bored and go out so I could sneak off. No such luck. Then my mate text me saying he was working on his house (as we have put a whole new heating system in and in the middle of rewiring it) So popped round on my way home and his wife was there. Now the boilers not connected yet as we need the gas man so its cold anyway but fcuk me was the atmosphere icey. So looks like the guy I was best man for is getting a divorce, I told him in my speech I wasn't doing it again haha. He used to work on the house on an evening, wife complains he didn't spend time with kids. So stayed at home on evening and house on weekend, complains no time with kids on a weekend. So does one day every other weekend. Complains that house will never be done! How can you win with these women!! So if anyone else wants to split up, invite me round, I love it :/

fcuking TiVo boxes. About a million keystrokes to do anything. Menus are horrid. And why the fcuk does the fcuking thing delete stuff that I recorded after two weeks by default, but all the sh*t it suggests and records keeps that for fcuking ever. Oh and iplayer doesn't work properly through TiVo. And I have to pay a premium for this sh*t.

Annoying Beeps, bells, clicks & bongs and gay ringtones Mondays at 1pm is the fire alarm test here. I understand why it's needed and why it needs to be tested for insurance reasons etc. but it's bloody loud and they set it going for about 10-15 secs instead of a short sharp beep. Count to 15 in your head....it's a long time when your ears are being blasted. Today it was external generator test time. So at 10am, the lights flicked off and on and the UPS kicked in with various beeps and bells, but some numpty has forgottten to switch a circuit and an alarm went off for about 30 seconds Half an hour later, they need ot flick it back to the mains so it was a reapeat of the previous flashes, beeps, bells and alarms. I sit not very far from two comms rooms, both have alarmed doors and due to the security of the buidling, only certain people's passes get in to one of the rooms...but to save having to swipe each time, one external maintencance chap just sits the door on the latch, so that the door isn't quite closed....cue a high pitched continuous alarm after 30 seconds that only stops if you close the door. You can't hear this alarm when in the actual comms room so I had to go and close it and then explain to this chap that the alarm goes off if you leave the door open. Guy sitting opposite me has been testing diverting his desk phone to his mobile... so that was 5 minutes of speaker phone dialling, and his mobile ringing with some lame hip hop ring tone. rant over - I must have sensitive hearing Time to put my headphones in and block the outside world
