Companys trying to rip people off because of there own errors!!! travelodge sent me a 60 parking fine from Wembley travelodge for parking ticket that I'd pre paid for!! Luckily I still had the email receipt,I could only get in touch through there 0844 premium number, only to be kept on hold for ages, just to explain it was there balls up not mine...no apology off them at all!! Asked for another letter to be sent saying no further action will be taken they said "we don't send letters like that" told them I wasn't happy about paying for the expensive phone call as it there fault.she just went quiet!! But on a plus side I've now got two nice pictures of my car...one of the front entering the park park and another of the rear leaving the car park! Just gotta buy a new photo frame now....Thankyou travelodge :-)

Contractor = paid by the hour or does not work thumbsup

Edit - extra time I can work at any rate the customer and I agree too, sometimes that is standard rate but if it is their screw up this will be double time.

I get time and a half for agreed overtime double on a sunday. The girl who needs to raise my issue to it security was "working from home" yesterday... Which really meant it got raised about 10am this morning. My customer side email in a delayed way is now also not available.....tick tock tick tock. I access most of my things via telnet or ssh and i can still see the queues for jobs and faults as i haven't made the booboo of logging out. Any active directory stuff is out of the question though as is dealing with project work as emailing is now up the chuff. Tbh im not bothered about that the project mangler that probably now thinks im ignoring him deserves a bit time with his arse making buttons.

sticky floors, dirty glasses, paper cuts, 3 womans talking AT THE SAME TIME, blunt sisors, the spelling of the word sissors, felt tip pens that havent quite run out but have enough to keep them, the word "hole", pencils that have been dropped and the lead just falls out when you try and sharpen it, hole punches that don't go the whole way through, the view of the shard from my desk and cups of cold coffee that I'm sure I made 5 min ago but wes actually well over an hour..
