Buying new underwear only to find out it goes up your butt crack.

I don't know whether to throw them out or get to like the feeling.

Yup as above. They run the commander course where I'll be so I'll be looking after the vehicles they use on the course. As part of the course they have to know a basic overview of how the vehicle works and general servicing. So we teach that. Old belt and rocker covers off. Just having a cup of tea then I'll put it back together :)

Bovington is a hive of cool stuff! Shame you can't take the Noble down there you'd have a blast ragging around the tank course! I did a one off Help for Heros charity track day down there a few years ago, brilliant fun!

Some more obvious than others such as cyclists who apply none of the law of the roads to themselves when on the road (its called the highway code i.e. rules for road users, not the carway code so excluding those idiots intent on putting yourselves in danger then blame everyone else if something happens).

People who eat with their mouths open.

People who walk along texting looking at their phones and not where they're going.

When people say they have 'brought' a car instead of 'bought' when talking about a car they have purchased.

People who say teachers have 'loads of holiday, work 9:30 till 3:30 so have an easy job' (and I am not a teacher).

The media's obsession with bad news and ruining peoples lives.

Indeed! And they spend the majority of it preparing a years worth of lessons for the kids  ;)

During a period of unemployment last year I helped out in a local school - it was an eye opener I can tell you.

My mum is a teacher, a lot of her friends are teachers...they get a wealthy quota of holidays. Sure, they don't start at 9 and finish at 3:30, but most other people work 8-4:30 or 9-5ish, and are expected to work late and do overtime and weekends :P I'm not jealous, I hate being on holiday from work, truely despise it!* *the above statement may not be 100% true and I may infact be enjoying a day off today

I don't disagree at all, its more the point that people assume that teachers do not work 9-5 like the rest of us...and get paid generally a lot less!
