Nipped out to the garage to stick the egr blanking plate on. 2 minute job. Nope, 1 sheared bolt. Looks like I'll be drilling that tomorrow then.

Don't get me started on folk in supermarkets. The entry requirements seem to be to turn off logic. Then amble around as slow as possible causing maximum carnage and frustration. It makes me want to charge at people windmilling

The fcuking AA thieving bastards.

I've just come across my renewal letter (it came in April, but it got buried under a pile of stuff). I paid £76 last year and that was for breakdown and relay. My renewal was £129.10. So a 69% increase. I looked online and for the same cover plus homestart it is £99. So I just called them and they said that is an introductory offer for new customers. I said I'd rather just cancel and start again and they said I wasn't eligible. So I said I really wasn't happy about the price and they then kept my cover the same (breakdown and relay) and reduced it to £83. WTF?

Its a business tactic which relys on apathy and laziness of customers.

People who can't park, but not ones who can't park and know about it - but the ones that are just stupid beyond belief - here is an example on my road - actually managed to block the road for 3 hours. Should have gone out there and stuck 'AA driving school has spaces at the moment for you you utterly useless brain dead moron'

I know you did thumbsup That's why I went and checked what price the AA were offering on their web site. Then I challenged them.

Now I like a good 69 ( ), but I wasn't impressed with a 69% increase in premium. Mind you yours was 94%

Guilty on several occasions.

Rather than the kids all whingeing about me getting the wrong stuff for pack lunches etc. I just take them with me sometime and they show me what the like...

Not every time though. They find new things they want/'need' each time, so best not to show em too much shiny stuff...

Students The TED Global conference is across the road today at the EICC....we're in Edinburgh's "financial district". You can imagine the reprobates that are around...joined by several riot vans. I still don't think students can see the irony of protesting about non payment of tax though? Scumbags.
