Telling a prospective employer up front exactly what package you need to make the move, going through 5 interviews, being told they really want you but getting an offer of less than the required amount. Baffling waste of time.

What a load of shite that is.  5 interviews baffles belief.  No company needs to do that really.

Sorry to hear that Alex.

I understand their reasons for the number of interviews given their past experiences, but I am gutted - felt like I had so much to give there and they had so much to offer me.

Have spoken to the boss and he thought it was a good offer.  It might be down to the recruiter, might be down to them now trying to get in 2 or 3 more permanent staff and squeezing the budget, but why take me through the process and offer less than they know I would take.

Hopefully we can resolve it - I have enquired if they will guarantee a bonus come the summer or if they can pay my pension from day 1, rather than after 6 months probation.

If I accepted the offer as stands, the package over the first 6 months would be less than currently taken (if pension and bonus are included).

Fcuking sh!te re-imagination of You've been framed and that shitty Youtube show presented by some DJ or another. Brain dead bargain basement TV. thumbsdown

I've been thinking the same thing for a while. What happened to the decent entertaining dramas that the BBC used to produce?

Well there is that  I rarely watch TV as it is broadcast. I usually record everything and play it back and fast forward the adverts.

I did. I just turned the TV on and assumed, due to the sh!t quality of both the program and the presenter that the TV must have been on some minor channel. Not the BBC's flagship channel for grown up's.
