Again with the project managers.fcuking hopeless. I've not met one that does anything else pass on other peoples words for a long time. Manage the bloody project resources!
My boss recently suggested its something I should move to. Maybe he's right. I could do it standing on my head to the standard of these idiots. Contracting too in banking, bet they are on a mint.

Cold weather? What would you know about cold weather, you're always on holiday
Art galleries? What were you doing in an art gallery? Did you need the toilet?

At least your home has straight walls. The bastard house of mine doesn't know what straight means. Having finally managed to get the kitchen 'almost done' the lounge has been started. Took the monsterous fire surround off only to find that the fireplace behind it is as straight as a 'curly wurly' and that the granite fire slab sits about 6cm further forward than normal. Cue purchasing a fire surround (strapped to the roof bars of the focus) only to find I have a 6cm gap that needs building up, once I have flattened off the chimney breast. So I really do feel your pain.Decorating.

Walls aren't straight though - I should know, I put them in.

All I was doing was hanging wallpaper in the stairwell. Longest drop was about 18 feet and I hate ladders!

Pretty much a whole roll per strip then, especially if you are pattern matching. I have gotten good at papering and managed to do Annette's entrance hall (7 roll jobbie) on my own and only took about 5hrs (inc. 1hr prep like removing conduit and unscrewing all the sockets and light switches. A paint roller is definitely the way forward - but that was no pattern match paper. I expect Chez Wolfie paper will be a 24" pattern match super-boudoir potato jobbie.
