Child Genius on Channel 4. The kids are very odd but the parents are just fcuking annoying

Can't stand them. Some parents are so pushy.....let kids be kids.

Abso-fookin-lutely... That is that plan for our household and was the sole reason behind some recent decorating in preparation for the future arrival.

I watched last week & decided not to watch again. 2 of the kids were so far apart it was amazing. One was home schooled, so when they went out it was a lesson, the kid learnt while on a trampoline if she wanted, she had to revise in the hall because she couldn't do it where other kids were. The other was obviously a bright lad he failed on a couple of memory questions on the London Underground map. His dad decided, in front of the lad he has let himself down & will be punished & be expected to revise harder. Can't watch it.

Recycling bin not being emptied when everyone else's has. Only thing I can see is that someone has put an empty carrier in at some point between last night and this morning. Sent them a message on their Facebook page asking if they are having a lazy day.

Thunderflies. The itchy annoying little b4stards.

How can something so small be of any use to anything. Even the spiders ignore them as too much effort to be worthwhile.

We had that last week.

Turns out we arent permitted to have "film" in the recycling bin... On querying the "film" status as there was no cling film in there, they said "If it can be scrunched up in your hand then its film". Cue mr picky bastard engineer who plays by requriements "but I'm no heman but I can crush a can in my hands, I can crush plastic bottles in my hands and I can scrunch paper up in my hands"

they had zero reply to that

The council got back to me saying they would come back and empty it. I told them not to bother as it's only half full. It's my money that's Fueling the track and paying their wages that I don't want to waste.

WMDC decided to educate me on what I can recycle by sending 2 people out, the culprit, it was a plastic bucket, you know 5 on the scale. The pilchards left it when they emptied the box & then paid me a visit.

Ah good old recycling, had a similar incident not so long ago. Phoned the council to ask why it hadn't been emptied as per usual no note to say why which they are meant to.

Turned out we cannot put the bags that the charity people leave on the doorstop (we use them to collect the recycling in the kitchen) despite a letter in the local newsletter saying the council have said these are fine.

I'm here for another reason though. Audi drivers. Apologies if you are one (feel good knowing you are in a small minority of good Audi drivers)

Thinking they own the road just because they have a slightly posh/smart looking car. The look I was given by little Miss Audi driver as I pulled over to the right lane coming up to a roundabout despite indicating as I pulled on to the road as she followed me on and without indicating went to overtake. Then decided she wanted the left lane up to the roundabout despite wanting to go right so undertook a lorry and cut it up.

If Febreze eliminates odours so well, why do they waste their time making the stuff with a lavender smell?

Hoovers that aren't made by Dyson. Loudest things in the world and I'm pretty sure that at the factory they have yoghurt cartons going in one side and the hoover out the other and that's it.
