This must be one of the longest threads on here! Anyway, how about old ladies with speed camera's built into their heads. I was driving home 7PM last night, empty road 50MPH speed limit, I was enjoying the quite road doing about 53 and looking forward to the twisty bits in a couple of miles. When this crazy old woman started drawing a 50 in the air with her finger and telling me to slow down. How the Hell did she know I was going 3 MPH over the limit???? Imnotworthy

websites that have some shitty music playing to a montage at the start.......

even more annoying is the ones that give you no prior warning that they are going to kick in, and, late at night, sat alone in the dark, you click on a link and get scared shitless by the fact your speakers are still loud from listening to tunes earlier in the day......... Perfect Example Clicky

My fcuking company - again This week we are getting "mystery-shopped" on how we answer the phone. I normally just give it "martin thorn speaking" but no, no no that just not professional enought. Now i need to say the following Good Morning / Afternoon, [insert company name] [insert department name] [insert your full name] speaking, how can i help you ? Just to confirm I don't actually work in a call centre, I don't get any calls from external customers and i do spend most of my day writing sql code (oh and sitting in fcuking pointless meetings) And the worst bit? We've actually hired an external research agency to carry out the work. Those that fail their mystery call will be reported to their directors and get a bollocking. [sigh]

Because it is important to remember that this is in no way annoying to the poor sod on the other end of the phone.

What jizz mopper thinks up this sort of sh*t?

Link colours on this site being black and not underlined, is their a reason for this?

Simply replace:
a:link, a:visited, a:active  { text-decoration: none; color:#000000 }

With

a:link, a:visited, a:active  { color: blue; text-decoration: underline }

Links will be blue and underlined and turn black when you put your mouse pointer over them.

I've actually now diverted my phone to my analyst. He's just told someone he hasn't seen me for hours.

Only the person sits on the same floor as me and just saw me coming back from the gents :beat: :D

Stories like this >one here<

I'm not going to argue the relative merits of either place. For the record I would sooner stick my head in a bucket of sh*t than live on Shetland and I'd sooner gargle sh*t than live in Birmingham but that isn't the point. It is one of the oldest got fcuk all else to write about fall backs for the lazy slag hack. Someone says something rude about somewhere and then finds someone (usually a retarded councillor or MP who is pleased to see his name in the national press at least once in his less than distingushed career and hey presto you have a story. I don't care what the editor of the Brum Evening Post thinks about Shetland and I'm at a loss as to understand why anyone else should care. It doesn't matter that the opinion has no basis in fact it ain't bloody news.

If Dog Bites Man isn't news then neither is Man Thinks Preston Is A Bit sh*t.
