Going through the unpleasant task of cutting up a concrete floor to remove it, only to find out it's actually screed and there's another concrete floor below it. :ffs: :ffs: :ffs:

Suddenly realising you have had the wrong priorities for far too long... When needed you only got enough everyday clothes for 3days, but have a wardrobe and set of drawers full of shirts and trousers for work. Gonna be off work a little while and have run out of stuff to wear to visit Mel in hospital.

Isn't that a normal blokes wardrobe? My missus has to rotate my clothes or I'd wear the same everytime she washed, I just take from the top or front!☺️

Only the other day my wife was bitching at me lecturing at me politely informing me she was going to throw out the top 5 items on my clothes pile to stop me wearing them, so I recommended she placed the fresh stuff at the bottom of the pile instead - not spoken to me since.  Just putting that out there in case any of you need a quiet week from the tolls of being lectured by your wives, a lot cheaper than the alternative of visiting a gentleman's club.

My paternity leave pay. Grateful that I get the legal amount of leave, but losing £400 a week for the priviledge hurts. However if I worked for the parent 'company' I would have been on full pay. It's just a good job I really like my employer for all the other reasons!

VX rear light units, especially the nasty plastic rear surround that will at any opportunity melt on to the light bulbs. Thus making impossible to remove said broken bulb, and then leaving razor sharp remains of the bulb in the holder, plus a plastic molten lump that stops fitting the new bulb. I'm replacing all the hot filament bulbs with cool led versions. And not to forget you need universal joints instead of elbows to fit one handed

Yes! Rear lights! I paid £££ to replace my rear lights with sparkly brand new ones and they came from the factory with an unexpected bonus - tiny spiders. Everywhere. Inside where you can't get at them. They're not lazy spiders either, they make webs, lots and lots of webs. :angry2:

Chavs with subwoofers... It doesn't matter what sh*t they are listening to, the dum-de-dum-de-dum-de-dum just cuts through me like a knife. Thankfully they were polite when asked to turn it down, Just wish I ask them to turn the sub off.

I remember when you had to have the birth at work so you could keep up with everything. And you had to pay them!

folks that go on strike and then dont bother to actually man their picket line.... I thought you had principles hence the strike

Striking is somewhat irritating in its own right, but atleast have the decency to stand/sit on the line rather than simply having a union funded day or few off.

That'll pass rapidly once you have one, then having one will get right on your tits.
