Hmmm, nice idea. Let's leave it up to HMG to determine what our "identity" is. That'll do the trick.

i'm suffering this at the minute. have lots of what should be really worthwhile make a difference jobs in the pipline - jobs relating to a policy which came for the torture and death of a little girl, but in meeting upon meeting and as the meetings about the meetings progress it seems no one wants to actually make a difference - they just want to tick all the right boxes. box tickers. they get right on my tits.

It all comes down to my standard rant about the view that given the correct information the world will become a better place. Problem: Old people are getting knocked down Solution: Do an ad campaign to make them aware that being hit by a car hurts :beat: Problem : Scotland is the sick man of Europe Solution : Ad campaign to convince lard ass fatties that taking excercise is good Of course its fcuking good, and everyone knows they should take more excercise but those that don't aren't going to be convinced by an ad campaign. So now we'll "educate" people in good british values and the world will be a better place.............ummm no it will be the same we'll just know what we are doiing / saying is "wrong". twats :flame:

Oh you want both to happen ? Oh fcuk off doodahs  EDIT : Swear filter doesn't understand the plural of doodah, but i got embarrased and put it in meself to save the innocent children who peruse this site. thumbsup

don't know what to call them really. builders? that's a rough stab i suppose and the best i can do for now. :9mm: latest horrors on the house; more comedy wiring and an inner leaf of brickwork in the kitchen that's held up by scrunched up tabloid newspaper from the 1980s. thumbsup sure that's not what was used originally in 1911 to bear the whole weight of one elevation of my house. quality. is not a word i'd use. still give me the opportunity to do the job right. tw@ts

it's completely beyond me. so far i've started (and finished) sorting a garage that goes 80% the width of my plot, leaving insufficient room inside for a standard size car and 900mm of useless space. a poured floor in the middle of the house which is constructed with ventilated suspended timber floors (needless to say i had HUGE chunks of plaster falling off all over the place, oh and chunks of damp brick). that by the way had the as normally specified 10mm- 40mm of screed ontop of a base made from a mosaic of imperial bricks three leaves deep  . comical wiring everywhere and now a wall/ floor arrangement that defied the laws of physics. fcuk me i'm glad i paid less for this house than it was valued at  mind you i did break out some paving in the back garden this weekend (which was on concrete to a higher spec than that used anywhere else in the house  ) and lay some turf. looks cracking. just got to let it establish now and i can have barbeques and another :drink:

Manufacturers dropping your favorite item - in this case Coke have dropped Vannila Coke which I love in favour of Cherry Coke - apparently they want to make a thing about Fruit flavoured cokes being more healthy - like any of them have seen real fruit. Anyway Vanilla is a Fruit!!!

All about Vanilla

Completely buggering up my knee in a way which shows no external bruising or swelling. Then everyone thinks you are wet or just playing for attention every time you squeal in pain trying to go up stairs. I'm giving active consideration to going to the physio.

*ding* with you on that one Jules. just seen it. fcuking pikey runts. the way the attack happened looked pathetic, looked like the attackers were scared of the guys they attacked fighting back even though they were clearly unarmed and the attackers obviously had knives.

to say i'm angry is an understatement.

I totally agree with you mate, but after the last thread where I ended up in a bun fight with some members I keep my captial punishment views to myself. But............... fcuk it, hang the b'stards!! :9mm:

By the way, is this the video, where after the event the criminals drove off in a blue calibra? I saw that one last week on the news, but didn't see one last night?
