On the ranges this morning so was provided with a bag with crisps, chocolate bar, biscuits and a drink in for lunch (because yes that's what they think sustains the training military)
Also inside was a lovely looking red apple. Took myself a large bite and started chewing away. Thought to myself "hmm, tastes a little odd" so look down and am greeted with this.
I was a little disgusted as my mouth opened and the remaining chewed apple fell from my mouth. After showing the guys eating their lunch a lot of retching ensued, more than from me actually.
The apple broken open.

So while they were retching, you took their lunch?😉On the ranges this morning so was provided with a bag with crisps, chocolate bar, biscuits and a drink in for lunch (because yes that's what they think sustains the training military)

Back pain. Get a bad back reasonably regularly but today is the first time I've experienced sciatica. It's brutal and the wee nazi at reception at the docs was no help. After watching me hold onto the window at reception to try stay on my feet while she asked a pile of irrelevant questions she just said "we don't treat backs here. Here's a leaflet call nhs24".
About a year ago I had incredible back pain... presented at the local surgery for when the opened at 8am, was clearly, visibly in significant pain, and they basically told me to go away as I didn't have an appointement.
Would a vet do that if you turned up with a dog that was yelping in pain? Er, no... bunch of c**ts.

I literally feel your pain mate. Had sciatica for over 12 months now. Better than I was but still can't get in and out the VX without taking the roof off. Last year was pretty horrific. The worst pain I've ever felt and wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Get your GP to refer you to the back pain clinic. It's a new way of treating people and tries to join up all the services i.e. Surgeons, physio and aftercare. Good luck.Back pain. as a vet we'd have been in big trouble talking to a client like that. You would never send an animal back out the door in that much painAbout a year ago I had incredible back pain... presented at the local surgery for when the opened at 8am, was clearly, visibly in significant pain, and they basically told me to go away as I didn't have an appointement.
