Swallowing a mystery insect during my morning run and then wondering if it would sting my insides...

When you poop it out, have some DEET ready!

Films that play the music at full volume then you can't hear the dialog. Why do they do this?

The nose/ear hair trimmer that I've just bought is now being advertised as a bikini line trimmer for women. Just hope the wife doesn't see the ad!

Not good. Visions of completing ones male grooming and wondering why the world smells of fish.

Politics - f&^k wits that talk about politics all the time on Facebook. Stupid things like companies that are continually ripping us off making things smaller like turning an OXO cube into and X and think we will all think its great. Literally everything is surrounded by heaps of packaging and we just suck it all up. Harbouring and allowing extremists to go about there s%^t and lack of pressure for minorities to integrate.  rant

Mental hospitals, horrible places  :(

They are challenging, but perhaps not horrible. I don't know your personal circumstances which I can imagine must be difficult

I've been working in a 'special' school for the last two years. Severe mental problems in kids with associated disabilities, severe physical disabilities...I can well imagine most might find the environment 'horrible'

But. Big but.

After a while you adapt. More importantly they adapt, and once all the informality goes away you sort of realise (jointly) there is a middle ground between their issues and our normality. It's difficult to write down, but some kids I felt awkward around (shouting, screaming, spitting generally 'mental') I now consider good mates. We now greet each other and interact in the limited manner we can which is great.

Perhaps the above doesn't relate to your current situation, no way of knowing. I guess what I'm saying is IME the 'places' might not be as bad as you think. You might consider the hospital  'horrible' but having spent a long time in similar places i'd like to think people like you and me help by being around/visiting

Just a thought. and I sincerely hope it helps
