Vegans

Totally agree, and I am one (or 99% at least, still got leather shoes and haven't managed to kick the Cadbury just yet).

I'd go with "Vegan Vigilantes" - or at least those who ram it down people's throats the whole time and cause consternation and the general getting on one's tits.

Secondarily to that I'd say those of that group who feel it necessary that I'd also join the club in slagging off carnivores - if I do it's only in jest with my mates, and I'd expect the same from them regarding the fact I'm a weirdo that doesn't have milk in my coffee or craves a bacon and egg butty.

Generally I don't mention it to people but more than happy to answer questions if they're genuinely interested rather than taking the p*ss.  It only really comes up if someone offers to cook me up a steak or when raised as a tit-getting on a car forum.

Let the slagging commence...  :tt:

I've said this before, but...

Women complaining that they don't get paid as much, or have as many opportunities as men when they typically take around 3 years of career breaks to have a few childeren and then about 10 years working part time thereafter.

If I had done the above, would I be in the position I'm in, earning the money I am earning... er No, would I then blame my life choices on somebody else... er No.

Five things that have wound me up recently:

Internet backlashes. Who cares if L Hamilton took the P out of his nephew for wearing a pink dress? Who cares if M&S sell "cauliflower steaks"?

Liberals. Especially when they are only liberal if you are in complete agreement with them.

Liberals running internet backlashes. Give me strength. If I see the words "Not OK" by way of comment to someone expressing a belief (however flaky) one more time...

Rita Ora (or whoever) shutting down their twitter account because someone said something they didn't like is not news!!!!

Realising that I am old because I'm raging against a tide that I cannot stop, like my Great Grandparents' fury at Rock and Roll in the 50s.

Oral b. 'brush like a pro'. You can also stick your professional toothbrushes up your brushed like a pro arse holes. There are no such things as professional tooth brushers.

You don't have to state the price including vat but you should make very clear that any prices are plus vat when stating a price

Being made out to be an awful person because i'm a young, working class white man. Apparently everyone in the world is hard done by apart from this demographic.

I went to the cinema the other day and there was a 5 minute advert starring some very high profile celebrities campaigning against domestic abuse (fair enough) but it was exclusively for abuse against women as if men couldn't possibly be subject to domestic abuse... My sister even said it was ridiculous. It's all come about because of Harvey Weinstein, his abuse of power is awful and they should throw the book at him but it's hardly relevant to the vast majority of men is it, well certainly not in my circle!

Then there's the recent click-bait, argument inducing drivel the BBC have been posting on their social media pages. One of the most recent stories was about a young girl that had been called "honey" in a patronising manor, okay it's rude but it's not BBC newsworthy and we don't need to have a "movement" because of it. Likewise the H&M hoodie gate, yes in hindsight it was probably a bit of a cock up to put a young black boy in a hoodie that says "little monkey" but it shouldn't even be a thing, I would never look at that image and put the 2 together, I always call my niece a little monkey and I would if she was black, that's just what you call kids when they're being mischievous!

Same with the Lewis Hamilton thing, i'm a massive fan of his for the incredible talent he has when driving a car. I don't really care what he does out of Formula 1 but I think he's a very good ambassador for the sport and the UK as a whole yet people love to beat him given the slightest chance, he had a huge social media following, thousands of posts that were genuine messages of thanks to fans and also a huge amount of charity work not to mention some great sporting moments that will go down in history. All of it deleted because he told a family member "boys don't wear dresses" in jest in his own home. It's a fcuking joke and a crying shame that we let these sad trolls ruin things for the sensible, level headed people in the world. I bet the trans / cross dressing community weren't offended as they would know it wasn't said in a derogatory manor and it wasn't supposed to cause offence.

I'm sick of feeling like we're treading on egg shells the whole time, we all have an opinion and you're never going to please everyone, I just wish people could make their own choices and be secure enough to not be offended by the most minor comments. I know i'm contradicting myself when I say this but the constant feeling that white men are all monsters out raping co workers and shouting racist abuse at strangers and LGBT has gone far enough.
