Ahh thanks the feedback Eliz & Swerve! :grouphug: I'll start looking tonight at different jobs that are out there that are different to what I've done before where I can use the new skills I have developed in the last 6 months. If that makes sense  My time here might not be enough for any employer to consider (especially with the history of 4 different companies in the last 2 years!), so I'm semi tempted to see what happens in january when we sit down again and discuss another pay rise (for about 5% no doubt!). By then I'll have taken on a lot more and we'll be able to see the outcome of the projects I'm working on now. I'm seriously considering giving the boss a 2nd chance with paying me more after all its only 3 months away. If he doesn't take me seriously by then, then I'll jump ship. Feeling much calmer now (this topic is a really good idea and good for stress relief), so we'll see. Can't do any harm to re-register on all the jobsites though with a new CV... :)

Wow don't remember being that pissed off when I wrote my previous post on this topic. Feeling much happier now anyway. back on topic, what gets on my tits is: When someone chewing gum/eating/attempting to think opposite me sounds like poor quality plumbing with chomps, slurps, licking of lips and the occasional splat and squelch followed by dribbling sounds. And its like this all fcuking day! I expect her desk to be covered in drool but somehow it isn't. Or maybe she wipes it off with her sleeve. This annoys me. Anyone else get wound up by this or is it just me (again!)

It wouldn't be such a problem except she's awkward to the point where my boss is desperately trying to rid of her. She's rude to customers, she refuses to learn how to use the new system we've put in place and she is horrendously inefficient and will take 2 days to job that would take anyone else 2 hours and won't listen when me and the boss try and help her to get things done quicker. Behind me I have two 4 ft long steel crow bars. Its tempting... And Eliz I was happily (overall that is) going out with someone for 3 years so commitment isn't a problem. I guess I've just been lucky upto now to have never met such a bitch before (her, not you!). Other than that I'm very happy. Hence my what makes you happy thread. Ewan

i believe something along the lines of this has been posted before: Dear People 30 Years Ago, i know you want to save yourself some money but please don't use chipboard for that suspended timber floor, especially not that tongue and groove stuff. either use floorbaords or wait until treated moisture resistant chipboard has been invented. actually scratch that, just use floorboards. you fcukers :beat: :9mm: hugs etc Ant

People who don't end a phone call with the immortal word..."goodbye" but just put the phone down. Now, if it is to end a call on an "extremely disgruntled" basis then fair do's, but I have a handful of clients that do this every time... it drives me mad...... :beat: That's better now that is off me chest...... :D

A young male colleague that goes to the toilet about 4 times a day, WTF is wrong with you?!? One of those times is first thing in the morning at 0820ish, another is pretty much spot on at 1600. Does he not have a toilet at home? Now I know I really shouldn't concern myself with something like this, but come on!! I think he needs to see a doctor. Really, I do.

How long is he in the loo? He could have some form of IBS or similar? :( Anyway was about to post in here earlier. However the cause of my frustration then left the building (it wasn't madam on this occasion) and the boss said "lets get pizza!". So now sitting here feeling very fat and unable to work. :) Plus boss has gone off to have meetings or whatever it is bosses do so am in the office and am all alone. Its really nice and quiet! Plus I'm investigating what our competitors are selling through ebay - which basically means I'm browsing ebay for stuff thats got nothing to do with work. :D Word to the wise... Don't employ me! :)

Eliz, he does seem to drink quite a lot actually. There's a water cooler downstairs, maybe that and a weak bladder is the cause..

He often says, "I'm going to use the toilet, does anyone want a drink?". I assume he means from the water cooler, but I say no anyway. The thought of him not washing his hands, and then bringing me a drink..

I haven't made any official timings, but typically less than 5 minutes. Reading that back, I think I need to find something else to focus on at work. :beat:

Maybe if I show my boss this he'll buy us pizza too.. :D

Don't employ me either.. :( (although it is Friday, so i have an excuse for posting too much. I'm still thinking of an excuse for all of the other days..)

oh that annoying dopey cow I work with has just gone pyscho at me again! :beat: She's been away for 2 weeks so we've been doing her filing. Basically she can't seem to understand how we've done it (we're getting rid of her soon so we adapted it to something we could understand!). So, she's just gone on and on about how much extra work this has caused her. Yeah whatever. :9mm: Bare in mind she asked me 3 times about the same invoice yesterday. 1st time) Have you done this. Me: yes its on the system. 2 hours later: should we put this on the system? Me: no its already on the system. I did it earlier. Just before going home - about 3 hours later: Are we going to sort this tomorrow? Me: No I already have I did it this morning and I told you to file it. Followed by: Her: blank expression. I honestly have no idea what it is she actually does. While she was away her job took a couple of hours per day and I still managed loads of other stuff. She seems to busy every day all day, but I spend a lot of time looking at what she sticks on the system and fixing it as she always gets it wrong. Despite both me and the boss explaining things to her again and again. Worst of all is the boss is away for the next 2 days and is letting her be stupid so that she has no reason to have a go at him when he makes her "redundant"... Just as well I don't run the company. I'd give her all the crappy jobs until she got the message and quit. And when one of your storeroom is an asbestos roofed leaking lockup garage, theres plenty of crappy jobs to do! :D

Non-fault accidents bump YOUR insurance premium up. Someone else drives like a tit into you and your insurance company now deems you to be a bigger risk. fcuking robbing cuntheads.

how fcuking petty is this. :beat: last 2 weeks every so often I leave slightly later for work than normal. Most days its fine, but sometimes I get stuck in traffic jams that wouldn't be there had I left 10 minutes earlier. You know how it is. so sometimes I arrive to work about 10-15 minutes late. I normally manage this the day the boss is out and therefore he doesn't need to know. I would expect madam (her who I've bitched about before) to dob me in, but she needs my help to keep her job at present so she's being as nice as she can. Instead, someone described as the boss as "upper management" at the company next door (our sister company) has gone and fcuking dobbed me into the boss. I've been told please can I arrive on time to set an example to everyone next door who has to clock in when they arrive and do get their pay cut short if they're late. fcuking petty bastards! I drive into work on a road that frequently everyone on the M3 uses as an alternative route. If I left to be here with plenty of time to spare I'd need to leave for work at 7:15am every fcuking morning as that road varies from day to day. As it is I have to be here for 8:30 so I leave about 7:40. Most days it works fine. I seriously want do to some damage to the bastard that dropped me in it. Next time he has a complaint he can make it to me himself. I suspect I know who it is too, the little dipshit. OK so I shouldn't be late and the boss knows that road (the A31) for what it is too so occasional lapses are fine. But now next doors noticed I apparently have to try much harder... What is it with these people that they feel the need to interfere. Whats next, asking me to drive something more discrete so the men in the workshop don't get upset that they'll never drive anything like a vx? Honestly! (shakes head) Thanks for listening.

Yeh but I also bet the fcukers next door stand there waiting to clock out and sprint to the car park. We sort of get this sh1t, Our world wide tech center, where i work, is across the road from the one of the manufacturing plants and while all the other offices have flexi time we can't as plant have to clock in so do we.

Lukily our manager shields us from any sh!t as he know we to more than the hours we gat paid for anyway, so unless you leave on the dot just point this out.
