Thanks for your replies Winstar and Jules! The politics here are quite bizarre for what is actually a very strong group of companies. Basically my boss (md of the company) worked for the company next door for 16 years straight from machineshop apprentice. He then got the opportunity to take over our ailing company which was then based in oxford. But for some reason he won't tell the empire next door to stuff off. Despite the fact that we're all high tech and efficient (disregarding madam of course!) here and really know what we're doing and well, they're not. The guys next door have been there about 50 years or so, and basically the management structure is very old fashioned. The head guy there looks like a vampire and will walk around the manufacturing area treating everyone with disdain. He won't even acknowledge me when I say hi when I'm over there. Fortunately he retires this year, and a much younger nicer chappy is taking over. Can't wait. :) Unfortunately I don't have the name of who dropped me in it and even I can't go and fire accusations at people until I get the right person. Besides they might then lock the door to me and then where would I nick all our office supplies from... :P So Mike F - please explain to us why you dislike Corsa Kid so much? I find his somewhat misplaced enthusiasm quite amusing!

Most things Clarkson hates in his new book - "And another thing..." It's great. I esspecially like his rant about enforcing drink drive laws for boats. "I can see it now, Solent police climbing aboard Lord Hufty Tufty's Fairline Targa 47 and sending him for jail for relaxing with a sherry!" ...and how would you enforce it "Yeah im drunk, but my 5 year old daughter was in charge officer, now go and catch some burglers!"

All scheming politicians. Also do away with this stupid rubbish whereby you vote for a local MP and the higher number of MP's of a particular party in the government = the new party in charge. What we need is everyone gets to vote for the party they would like to run the country. All the votes are added up and the winner gets charge of the country. None of this bullshit about having to vote for a particular local party that you don't like but is better than the alternatives because there isn't a local MP for the party you do like. Like everyone in surrey seemed to vote conservative last time because thats all there is; conservative or libdem. Labour don't even get a look in around here. But there were no decent alternatives to either of those two so what can we do? We need a new government. Labour should all be shot for treason, the Tories won't do, the Lib Dem's are just the green party in disguise, don't even get me started on the real green party. BNP seems rather tempting at the moment. Maybe a bit of BNP with a bit of that bunch who are all car nuts, plus a load of people who have made successes in the private sector and know how to make things work. But coincidentally aren't interested in becoming politicians. I know I'd rather let my taxes go to someone who knew what they were doing. When I was a kid I met one or two other kids who were really into politics. Sadly they were useless little twats then and probably became useless big twats now. Who occupy high levels in their local council offices. rant Also I'm pissed off about traffic jams. I have to get up progressively earlier and earlier in the morning at the moment to leave early enough to avoid all the usual traffic problems and I'm now sitting here falling asleep at my desk. :sleepy: First party that promises to build more roads and get them built quickly gets my vote. And while they're at it they can create a ministry for common sense. If it requires hiring big guys in dodgy suits to duff people up a bit (all the pc bridage for starters) it'll be good for national morale. Don't forget we conquered large parts of the world by being rather good at duffing people up. :D Thanks for reading. :)

Has CK actually come out as a troll yet? And has anyone noticed if his ridiculous posts have increased whilst typewankwanksix has been offline? He did seem to crop up just as this site became billed as 'the chav site' by the wise old men over at 116. Coincidence? ANYWAY, what gets on my tits are those dicks on the bikes with skinny tyres and curly handle bars. Er, just because you are marginally faster than other bikes still means that you're about half as fast as the cars (who actually pay tax to use the roads) trying to get past you, so would you mind terribly NOT cycling in the middle of the fcuking road?? :saw: That'll do chinky chinky
