Stuck in traffic on the M11 north of J8 on Thursday night. Things had come to an absolute halt.

I counted four cars who thought it’d be a good idea to drive up the hard shoulder to bypass all the traffic. It’s okay though; they had their hazard lights on.

Pricks.

 

Happens lots. Mainly becuase people cant actually drive on the M11 properly anyway

Lotus bigots!

 

Did a Club Lotus track day at Goodwood on Saturday in the VX. The organiser allows VX's because he quite rightly acknowledges that the VX is a part of the Lotus family despite the absence of a badge. Anyway get a link to some photos taken by a so called pro and none of me and another VX in 200 shots. Maybe it's because we've both got metallic grey cars!

They do this even if you've parked at the farthest end of a supermarket car park where there are dozens of empty spaces. Took the VX on the road today for the first time this year.
In car parks I've taken to finding two empty spaces and parking centrally on the white line, so 15 minutes in to my journey I park that way in a car park with plenty of parking spaces and as I get out some old twat starts sounding his horn at me. I go over and smile and explain politely the difficulty in getting out of the car in confined spaces and he continues to moan about wanting to park where I've parked. In the end I told him there were plenty of places to park and to stop being a self righteous twat.

Automatic paper towel dispensers in bogs. Seem to be all the rage in Jordan. Ffs just let me decide how much paper towel I need rather than some stupid machine that dispenses in small quantities and then makes you wait until its ready to give you a bit more!
