Mate, if she uses the air-miles to sod off away from the south for a while it won't be such a bad thing!! Every cloud and all that. thumbsup

and i wanted to use them to take a lovely young lady to Cuba.

fcuking cnutbags :9mm:

edit: mind you, on the age thing, i can't REALLY complain at the moment can i mate?

On occasion?

Have you worked with/for a female Architect yet?

When/if you do, you will fully understand the meaning of the  smilie ;)

hmmm, she's not qualified yet, but the lady in question is training to be an architect. as featured in some of my early posts on here. called her up to ask if she minded if i email my cv to the practice she works for. all i got was "Ant, we can't talk it's all too much".

it was nearly 3 years ago ffs. get over it woman

so i won't be sending those people my cv

edit: and for the conspiracy theorists, or those who didn't read my 'i don't even know which hand to wipe my @rse with, let alone anything about women' posts, she dumped me, and no, i didn't do anything wrong, i'm as soft as sh1te.

edit edit: and before anyone goes digging the aforementioned thread up, it doesn't deserve it. it is nowhere near classic vx220.org material ;) that's reserved for 'which pasty shall i buy?' posts

Gotta say. I work with two women Architects Atm. Both nice enough women if I met them socially. They are VERY protective about their designs though.......impossible to deal with when you tell them the design wont work to detail (nothing new there as far as Architects are concerned there though  ) I conclude:- Buildings designed by females = surrogate kids PS: whilst I'm on about WGOYT Did I mention the fact that planners are now conditioning buildings as being BREEAM 'very good'? I questioned a planner a few weeks back...and i quote him/her/could be anyone of them 'It's a 'standard' I can quote.....I don't fully understand it, but I can expect it in landmark buildings within my catchment area' I kid you not.

You want to see some of the reactions you get as a contractor whan you tell them that something is unworkable :flame:

Management types who smoke in their office when nobody else in the vicinity smokes at all. Doesn't matter if they open the window it still stinks the rest of the building out and is currently making my eyes water. :beat: Stop it! :9mm: :9mm: :flame: Disgusting habit anyway. And while I'm here: arrogant thick people that won't get the message that they're really in the sh*t and nobody's offering to pull them out. And unfortunately due to HR laws in this country you can't just sack them especially if they're of ethnic origin and female. The roads around compton, godalming and south guildford. How fcuking rough are these roads! Theres potholes everywhere, a new road widening venture they put in is so rough and crappy that everybody uses the old bit of road, plus my journey in has made the vx rattle far more than it used to. Worriers. If I mention I'm thinking about putting something on the website, theres no point in worrying about it all night and then having a right go at me the next day for something I haven't even done yet. I've got better things to do than waste 15 mins on the phone to someone whose convinced we'll get the data protection act lot, our parent company in Germany, plus some of our larger customers come round and kick our teeth in cos' I mentioned we might name some high profile projects on our new website. Grr! :) Feeling better now!

people who stop before a set of lights and then creep forward about 7 times before they get to the car in front roads that have been created as a result of a meteor shower lorry drivers in general bosses / directors (or simpletons) who have just bought themselves a brand new : cayenne turbo, range rover sport, bentley azure, RR phantom and then expect you to kiss their fat behinds for the standard 3% rise they gave you !! (all of those cars are in our car park !!!) people who get into work way too early and then make a point of telling every fekker of their earlybird madness, ooh i have been in since 645 this morning and half the day has gone when you get in (that is because i have a life) ah feel better now !!

Damn right! If they need to get in that early why don't they try using their brains to work more efficiently so they don't need to get in early.

I've worked in several places like that and they're a load of upthemselves bastards.

Also the type of person who has to be the last to leave the office. Its worth staying extra late just once to make them squirm and make them even later than usual... :D
