Actually that's another thing that drives me mad - assistants who totally ignore you when you say hello. it's usually people at Tesco Metros or the ones in petrol stations. Sooo rude. Glad you frequent here even if you don't have a VX :) Talking of which - haven't seen A2UL for ages - miss him. PM'd him to see if he is ok, but haven't hear back :( Oh yes, box full - damn...

Thanks, I've enjoyed being on here for ages. Haven't posted nearly enough though. 340-odd in four years. However, you have been on here for under one year, and have posted over 3,000?!?!?!?!?! Well done!!

Cycling into work and trying to overtake other cyclists who are incapable of pointing their boneshaking green-machines in a straight line!! :9mm: :angry2: I'm convinced about 99% of these tree-hugging dogooders don't hold any sort of drivers license or have even looked at a highway code. :( :o Its not the cars I need to look out for in the mornings, its the other cyclists. Aaaannd thats better! :sleepy:

I've been trying to avoid posting in this thread, but I think it could be a good way of letting off steam:

Being handed your change with the coins on top of the receipt/notes - this is so annoying because you have the item(s) you bought in your other hand, and how the hell are you supposed to lift the coins off and put them in your pocket with one hand?! I prefer the rarely-seen technique of placing the coins in the customer's hand, and then handing the notes to be placed in the fingers. Sorry, but I've been pondering this one for ages...!

Nah, I disagree - better that than coins then notes... since what happens there (especially when your hands are full) is they just casually drop the notes on top, then they float to the floor, and you have to bend to pick them up, which is difficult since you have one hand full of change and another with a bag of shopping  Makes you pleased you have a full pair of hands at your disposal!

What irks me is when they (usually fast food and takeaway joints, less so supermarket trolls) ring up the amount due then immediately stick their hand out and leave it there as if you are taking all day to pay them. Just f***ing wait for the customer to give you the money, impatient ectoplasm!!! :angry2: And relax :D

Sunday drivers  Motorcyclists who won't go to the side of the road for you to overtake  I always do that for motorcycles - never get it returned. I got stuck doing 45 mph behind two, for miles on a prime piece of A road. They were behind each other - one was in the middle of the road, and the other right over next to the white line

Carling 'Extra-Cold' served in a warm glass straight out of the glasswasher. If I wanted just a luke warm Carling, I'd have went and got a can from the shelf of the offy. Tossers. Cyclists who don't use the brand new, totally empty cycle lane that the council has paid £x million putting in for their benefit. This only seems to be those lycra-clad bellends with those road bikes with the skinny wheels. People who talk sheight to you even when you make it plainly obvious you are not interested/feel uncomfortable with what they are saying.

Isnt the G/F. she is at work when the post man gets here. She leaves at around 8:30 and posty doesnt get here until 10:30 earliest.
I can only dream of having 2 G/F's

This is as annoying for me as it is you. I am not receiving any mail, thanks to the daft posty. Apparently it is her that is returning it for me???
