Well i'll proberly get shot down for saying this but Star city have come up trumps again thumbsup . Got the vx looked at last week with a suspected coolent leak, lookers confirmed a leaking bleed valve at the front, did a quick temp reapair while the part was being ordered. Car was booked in this week and a courtisey car (with an Admin charge :( ). Well apart from the car being ready 1/2 day early (booked in for 2 days as the fronts got to come off :o ), First off admin charge waved as it was warrenty work (didn't even have to argue it :) thumbsup ) The header tank i asked them to look at for possible signs of the plastic degrading was replaced thumbsup , the cars come back with no scratchs on the front end, it's even been cleaned and polished on the front. Top work lookers keep it up thumbsup

good on ya Blanchie, it seems that Star City Lookers have delivered. Its just a shame that they cant deliver a reasonable level of service to other members. Just to put members into a picture...needed to get my windows adjusted...took it in got them adjusted, but 1. They have obviously left a screw in the door, rattles everytime I take a corner fast or sudden change of direction 2. The way the door cover was put back on was lets say "subtstandard". I could have personally done a better job, and I am not even that technically minded. I mean, if their techs are happy to pass on shabby piece of work back to the customer, what does it say about their level of workmanship. well..Lookers did offer to replace the door cover...and I had it booked in but then I saw the work that they had carried out on Icemans car. It was in to get the rear light cluster replaced due to misting, they ended up replacing the wrong cluster. He took it back, replaced the right cluster but damaged the paintwork. well, after seeing that level of workmanship, I decided that I didnt trust the service dept near my car, rather drive with a rattle. sorry blanchie, but just the other side of the story. Oh...in their favour their Sales dept is absolutely cracking...Ted Wright top sales man...does really look after you. Mani
